Dear Director of El País,
I am writing to express my concern about the current state of our society and the lack of attention paid to the most vulnerable among us. As a society, we are all responsible for the well-being of our citizens, and yet we do not succeed in ensuring that the most disadvantaged are not left behind.
In recent years we have witnessed an increase in poverty, inequality and social injustice. The poorest and most marginalized in our society are the most affected by these problems. They are the least likely to receive adequate support and resources. This is unacceptable and must be addressed.
At the same time, due attention is not paid to our environment. Our planet is in crisis and we are not doing enough to guarantee our future. We have to make sure that we are taking steps to protect our planet and preserve our natural resources.
I believe that El País has a responsibility to its readers to bring these issues to the fore and encourage meaningful debates about them. I would like El País to play an active role in promoting solutions to these problems, as well as in raising awareness and understanding of them.
As a society, we must work together to ensure that we all look out for the most disadvantaged. We must also act to care for our planet and ensure that future generations can enjoy the same quality of life as we do.
Sincerely,

Sincerely,
Letter to the editor of El País for a published article
Dear Publisher,
I am writing in response to an article recently published in your newspaper, El País. The article dealt with the subject of housing and rental prices in Spain and how the current situation is leaving many young people with difficulties in affording a place to live.
I am young in Spain and I can attest to the difficulties that the current housing crisis is causing. Rental housing prices have become so astronomically high that they are no longer affordable for many of us. Even those of us lucky enough to be able to rent pay exorbitant prices for cramped and overcrowded apartments.
It is not surprising that so many young people are now turning to the alternative housing market. Unfortunately, this market is far from ideal. For example, many of these houses are in poor condition and lack proper sanitation or heating. In addition, the security of these properties is often questionable and the rental conditions can be unfair and exploitative.
It is unacceptable that the current situation forces young people to live in these conditions. That is why I believe that the Government must take measures to tackle the housing crisis. We need more investment in social housing, better regulation of the private rental market and more measures to prevent landlords from exploiting tenants.
I urge the Government to act now and make housing in Spain more affordable and safer for everyone.
Sincerely,
